I found dried cherries and used those instead of candied ones so mine was pretty boring looking, no flashes of red. I just greased the pans since I had no parchment paper and they mostly came out, only a little sticking. Got distracted before I could make any hard sauce but I still think that's a good idea.Nimblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16426446791363667887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1847911008685707977.post-45330208610304850122010-12-27T20:42:50.376+01:002010-12-27T20:42:50.376+01:00I'd make that NOW if I had the fruit & nut...I'd make that NOW if I had the fruit & nuts, which I don't...Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15460136246441367993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1847911008685707977.post-2921528913807493872010-12-27T16:42:16.555+01:002010-12-27T16:42:16.555+01:00I read it twice because I didn't see any butte...I read it twice because I didn't see any butter. Amazing, I will go forth and bake some Ft. Worth fruitcake. And thank you for the taste test to tell us you prefer the non alcoholic version. I am tempted to try it with some hard sauce on it though!

I goggle at the idea of more than 20 fruitcakes. I hope you achieved the feeling you were aiming for in the midst of all your baking magic. And that you feel a sense of accomplishment and release now that the flurry is done. Happy 2011!Nimblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16426446791363667887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1847911008685707977.post-70735510757781504572010-12-26T22:10:27.166+01:002010-12-26T22:10:27.166+01:00Merry Christmas! ....smiles.Merry Christmas! ....smiles.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453429612511514721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1847911008685707977.post-58841303819703084002010-12-25T09:37:32.582+01:002010-12-25T09:37:32.582+01:00i think i have all of the ingredients for this in ...i think i have all of the ingredients for this in my cupboard, so i'm going to go for it. but you are the absolute queen of baking!!julochkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10884096685015570257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1847911008685707977.post-66987712530001822942010-12-25T05:38:02.443+01:002010-12-25T05:38:02.443+01:00I am in awe.
